More Pictures!

First: Group photo taken after language school. Three girls on left (your right) were our teachers attempting to teach us Russian. Some caught on faster than others! Second: Group photo in front of the Elektrostal sign. Third: An artistic shot of the war memorial in Elektrostal. Each town has a war memorial, which commemorates War World II vets. A very important part of any Russian town. Fourth: McDonalds in Elektrostal. Look closely and you can see Patrick Neifert standing up in the middle and our group just to the right sitting down.

good photos! The people at McDonald's look like they could be at any McDonalds from the USA. Wait...I think most of them are!

Who took the photo of carnations on the memorial? ... amazing photo.

We learned the letters of the Russian alphabet and the following words: mother, father, brother (which is pronounced "brat"), sister, cat, dog, student, teacher, director, accountant, wife, husband, good/fine, bad, super good. We also learned the numbers through 39 and the following phrases: I have got, my name is, how are you, who are you, how old are you, thank you, hello, goodbye, not at all, good morning, good afternoon, good evening, and good night.

Adam took the carnations photo.
